How to cope with having no friends

One of the natural desires of the human heart is friendship. Friends are everything to us - they make us laugh, cheer us up, and stick with us through the tough times. This is why it can be so hard to live your life without any friends. You may be stuck in a place by yourself or where people aren't interested in making pals, they never are though. Or maybe you've fallen out with a treasured mate. Whatever the reason, if you find yourself without friends, don't despair.

1. Be active- it's healthy and cleanses your mind. Try driving, cooking, writing, or even shopping at the mall. Exercise and healthy activities will take away the loneliness and make you feel good. Being healthy will not only improve your internal disposition, but it will make you more physically attractive.

2. Try to make friends with an animal, such as a dog or cat. Often, pets can act as a nexus of socialization.

3. Be kind, generous and helpful to everyone. Smile even through the tough times - you'll attract people as everyone likes a positive person. Don't take out your negative feelings on others. Treat them as you would wish to be treated and you'll find yourself coming a long way.

I tried number 3 but it seems to get me into more stress then anything, people are selfish!

4. Look on the bright side of life. It might be hard at first, but there's always good around you. It's easy to see all the bad things in the world, and to always be negative; it's refreshing to acknowledge the goodness in life. It may seem impossible, but all you have to do is open your eyes.

5. Stop hating. If you are anti-this or anti-that, figure out why you're so against it. If you explore things that you are against, you might find good in it - if not, you will know your enemy better and be better able to converse intelligently. Someone who is full of hatred but cannot say why is viewed as irrational and unpleasant by the people around them.

But having Aspergers can make explaning things harder for me then the average person
